Welcome to the Avon Park Community Redevelopment Agency

The Avon Park Community Redevelopment Agency (APCRA) is a separate public entity created by the City Council. Its function is to implement and support redevelopment activities in specific areas.

City Council members serve as the governing board of the Community Redevelopment Agency. The Advisory Boards, appointed by the City Council, provide assistance to businesses and residents and bring forward recommendations to the APCRA.

The agency's main focus is the elimination of slum and blight and to support and promote economic development in the three districts: Main Street, Airport, Southside. The APCRA serves the community through grants, events and business development.

We're creating better tomorrows for Avon Park.
